Place value war.

Basically how you play the game is everyone gets and even amount of cards and then you flip 2 cards like this. 

And what number you flip over first you will have to say 6 tens and other number cards you pick you will have to say 2 ones and then you will have to total the numbers together and say 62.

The only time you put  cards down is when you have only three cards left you flip them at the side so you can see what is the three number.You will have to combined them together it is different to the to cards you pick when you start because you say 6 tens and 2 ones but when you have three cards you say 5 hundred 1 tens and 3 ones.

Samoan language week!!!

A few weeks ago in this term we were learning about the taste of Samoa.In the taste of Samoa we were talking about things that was made in Samoa and they teached us all about Samoan stuff.They teached us how to make a cup of koko and how to make choc they leted us have a drink of the cup of koko and after that we were eating coconut it was so yum and we had a turn to cut the coconut.And after that we saw these awesome costume and with bags and this thing that was kind of like an hat.

This is a picture of what we did with the cup of koko in the taste of Samoa. There were nuts and there were sugar that what made the cup of koko taste delicious I almost drank nearly all of the cup of koko it was so awesome.

This is a picture after Samoan language week assembly. Some of us talk a picture with and her mother we had chop sue after the Samoan language week assembly we had rice in the chop sue it was delicious.Mrs Moore mother read a book to room 14 and question it was fun she replied. We had a lot of fun Mrs Moore mother was kind of funny we were in a circle if we wanted to ask her question.
